Valentine's Day Special

Need an idea of what to get your significant other for Valentine's Day?

I'm offering a Valentine's Day special: a mini session with beautiful (handsome) you or together with your better other half.

A 15 minute session of you by yourself for $30 (15 images on disc) or with your significant other for $40 (15 images on disc). Sessions will be held on Saturday, February 5th between 9am-1pm at Ellwood Park in Abbotsford. Sessions will occur rain or shine as there are covered areas.

Spread the word - I'd love to have this morning booked solid! It's a quick, easy, inexpensive and enjoyable way to show some love this February 14th. And it doesn't even have to be for the love in your life - it can be for parents, for your kids, for your friend. You choose who you want to give a picture of your beautiful self to!

{Newborn} Owen

This photo session is definitely one of my most special ones because Carolyn and I have been best friends for 25 years (WOW, that statement makes me feel old). Plus, my parents and Tony's parents are good friends, so we got together as families a bit when we were younger and I also went to elementary and high school with Tony. And now they have two beautiful kids.

I know Carolyn was a little concerned about Owen arriving right at Christmas, but he arrived one week before that. But with the busyness of the season and then me being away between Christmas and New Years, plus Tony's work schedule, the earliest we could arrange a session was January 8th. Owen was exactly 4 weeks old but still very pliable, tiny and adorable. He was not, however, interested in sleep as he stayed awake the entire session which lasted over an hour.

So now we both have a girl and a boy, in that order, and while I positively love our kids, I am happy to be out of the baby stage for ourselves. But getting to snuggle this little guy and watch his sister love on him in her own way, was pretty awesome and I loved every minute of it.

Thank you Carolyn and Tony for bringing your two adorable kids and standing in front of my camera for the afternoon so that I could capture you as a new family of four. I know there are lots of adjustments, but you're doing a great job with both of your little cuties!

{Maternity} Carlin, Jen & Rylee

I just loved this session. No worries about the weather (it snowed, hailed and slushed that day) or the lighting as we were in the studio. Of course, the best part was that I got to photograph my friends, their super-cute daughter and the addition they are anticipating in the next few week(s). Rylee came a few weeks early, so Jen figures this one probably will too and in most cases early - but after 37 weeks - is a great thing.

Thanks Jen and Carlin for coming out to the studio for your maternity session - I had a great time with you and look forward to photographing your little bundle on the outside!

{I noticed when we were at their house for a Christmas party, lots of John Deere tractors. When they were pregnant with Rylee they had a picture with this same idea, and these days, Rylee likes to drive tractor on Mommy's tummy too. Though not during our session...}
