2011 Favorites

I haven't done this before, but thought it would be fun to re-visit all my sessions from this past year. It is quite rare for families to prefer not to have a session posted on my blog, but it does happen. However, there is usually a willingness for a photo or two to be posted if there's no information included and I am happy to oblige. So you may see a new face or two in today's post.

I realize I am wayyyy behind in my posting right now and I do hope to remedy that in the very near future because I know there are people who would love to see their own session here to share with family or friends, so if you're one of those waiting, fear not - it will come soon!

I absolutely adored this session! The weather was mild, the leaves held their colors and I think this family is pretty fabulous! Dave & Chauntel have been in the same LifeGroup at church as long as we've been there, so over five years already, and I've been teaching Taylor piano for almost two years. My husband and I have so enjoyed getting to know them and our kids just adore the three of them too!

This was a new location for me and it worked out so well with just the right amount of variety and very few people around. Definitely a location I plan to return to.

Thanks you guys, for meeting with me, taking a chance on a new location and being so easy to work with - I had a blast with you three!

{Family} Jon & Genny

Last year, I had the opportunity to photograph this fantastic family, who have become good friends of ours. We met up for a mini session, right after I did a short session for my own kids. Just like last time, it was meant to be just the girls and Genny but last minute Jon came driving up and joined the fun! I love it when things work out like that.

The leaves were the perfect balance of on and off the tree, a beautiful fall color and made for a picturesque backdrop.
