{Family} Josh & Sarah

Return clients are awesome, especially when they're friends. Either they really value what you do, or they feel really guilty about hiring someone else. Kidding. Well, I choose to believe the first reason because I'm not one that doesn't get quickly offended so if someone decides to hire another photographer, so be it - you have to find the person that suits you best.

For a moment there I wondered if I was sharing too much but then I thought about the session and how it went. The first time around. It went great until I got home and loaded the pictures on my computer and saw that I had accidentally changed a setting and they were all out of focus. In their gracious kindness, they were available to meet me the following day to do it over. And while their youngest was not as cheery as the prior day, the other kids and I sure had a blast - they were already comfortable with me since we had been together the day before.

So, I say again, I have fantastic clients and I am so thankful for their kindness to me in regards to this session!

{Family} Mark & Laura

Another familiar family on the blog, is Mark & Laura with their kids, Taye & Nya. And even though I have done pictures for them several times, Taye loves to make me work to get his natural smile out of him. It's hilarious but we always manage to get some great expressions, have some good laughs and natural smiles too.

Thank you, Mark & Laura, for allowing me to do your family pictures again and for the great time that you always bring to our sessions!

{Children} Maysa's One

Maysa recently turned one and I was super excited when Sarah asked me to do a 1-year-old session with her. We met at Williams Park on a perfectly warm day and celebrated one of the most smiley babies I've ever met!

I seriously had such a blast with this session - Maysa is so happy and having the opportunity to focus on just one child is so awesome! And ending the session with a little cupcake smash was pretty great too!

Happy Birthday Maysa!

{Family} Chris & Myrna

About a month ago, I had the privilege of taking photos for my cousin and her family at Williams Park. They are from Alberta, and when their eldest had a school field trip at Williams Park, they felt the area was so unique compared to 'home,' that they chose it for their family session. And beautiful it was, on a mild summer evening.

After the session, I was away on holidays, then they were away on holidays, but finally this morning I was able to drop off their photos, so I'm glad to finally be able to post these pictures here. They are an incredibly photogenic family, super laid back and just so much fun. Thanks for suggesting a fantastic location and making such an enjoyable evening for me!
